Overview
Run New Assessment allows users to start a risk assessment for one or more AI systems or datasets using a predefined template.
This three-step process supports consistent evaluation of risks such as bias, privacy, and quality.
Step 1: Select Assessment Template
Select a template from the list.
Templates define the scope and type of assessment, such as:
- Bias and Fairness Assessment
- Privacy Impact Assessment
Templates are tagged to show whether they apply to:
- AI systems
- datasets
- both
After selecting the template, click Next.
Step 2: Select Entities
Select the AI systems or datasets that will be assessed.
The list of available entities will match the entity type supported by the selected template.
Users can search or browse to locate entities.
After selecting the required entities, click Next.
Step 3: Review and Confirm
Review the summary of the assessment configuration, including:
- template name
- number of selected entities
- total number of assessments that will be created
Click Create Assessments to generate the assessments.
New assessments will appear in the Risk Assessments Dashboard, where they can be viewed, continued, or completed.
Notes
- only templates applicable to the selected entity type are displayed
- selecting multiple entities creates separate assessments for each entity
- assessments can be resumed later using the Continue option in the dashboard
