The Incident Dashboard in Clarity AI provides a consolidated view of AI-related incidents across the organisation. It presents key information such as incident stages, severity levels, response timelines, and observable trends within a single interface, allowing teams to monitor incident activity efficiently.
This view supports structured oversight of incidents and helps maintain visibility of issues that may require attention.
Purpose
The Incident Dashboard helps users:
- View incidents across different stages of progress
- Understand how incidents are distributed based on severity
- Monitor response timelines across acknowledgement, containment, and resolution stages
- Observe patterns in incident occurrence
- Identify incidents that may require timely action
By presenting incident information in one location, the dashboard supports consistent tracking and review of incident activity.
How It Works
Feature 1 – Incident Status and Severity Snapshot
Summary indicators display the number of incidents currently recorded under each stage of the incident lifecycle.
Severity classifications group incidents based on their level of impact:
- Critical
- High
- Medium
- Low
These indicators provide a quick understanding of the overall incident situation.
Feature 2 – Response Timeline Indicators
Key response time measures are displayed to show how incidents are progressing:
- Time to Acknowledge (TTA) – duration between incident identification and acknowledgement
- Time to Contain (TTC) – duration required to limit the impact
- Time to Resolve (TTR) – duration taken to fully address the incident
Reference timeframes are typically configured as:
- 4 hours for acknowledgement
- 24 hours for containment
- 72 hours for resolution
Visual cues indicate whether timelines are within the defined thresholds.
Feature 3 – Incident Patterns and Distribution
Visual representations display incident behaviour across selected time periods:
- A trend view showing how incident volume changes over time
- A category view displaying incidents grouped by incident type
- An allocation view indicating how incidents are distributed among assigned users
These views help track incident activity patterns.
Feature 4 – Severity and Type Mapping
A matrix view compares incident severity against incident category, helping users observe how different types of incidents relate to impact levels.
Feature 5 – Date Controls
A date range selector allows users to define the reporting period.
The default selection typically displays incident information from the previous 12 months.
All visual elements adjust automatically based on the selected timeframe.
Notes
- The dashboard reflects incidents that have been recorded in the Incident Register.
- Response metrics depend on accurate updates to incident records.
- Reviewing trends regularly can help identify recurring incident types.
- The dashboard provides visibility of incident activity within the Clarity AI platform.
